#1
Hello,
Just getting started with my degree. I have 19 credits so far from a B&M. Can anyone offer any suggestions for CLEP/DSST or other in place of the *TESCP courses below?

Also, I'm having trouble finding CLEP/DSST etc. for the Area of Study in Operations Management electives with CLEP/DSST etc. alternatives if you have any suggestions how how to match those.

Thank you in advance for any help you may have. This forum has been tremendous!

I can't tell which courses you've completed and which ones you have planned. Operations Management is not an area of study with many CBEs (credit by exam). Penn Foster might have some applicable courses, but make sure they are currently ACE-approved.

You can also check to see what Ohio University might be offering as exams in the near future. There are a few popular schools for independent study courses. Someone else will probably be able to give you a semi-comprehensive list.

This is a test out plan for the BSBA in General Management, but you can follow it for everything except the area of study.

I briefly had BSBA-Ops Mgmt on my evaluation when planning to go for a dual Bachelors, and tried to find my planned course list, but must have left it on the other machine that got reformatted. You can use the many BSBA degree plans for most of your courses, but there are not enough applicable CBEs out there to entirely test out, so you will need to find courses somewhere.

I do remember quite a few of the Ops Area of Study courses were available at Colorado State U - Pueblo Independent Study. Take a look: Management > Division of Continuing Education > Colorado State University-Pueblo
Ops & Quality Mgmt, Ops Strategy, and TQM should apply and transfer without much fuss.

Do not forget to look at your local CCs or out-of-the-way four year schools for online options at in-state rates. While not all will have an Ops degree per se, most have courses that may be applicable. CCs are more likely to have options geared towards the Ops degree type that TESC offers, and so long as they satisfy the specific course guidelines in the corresponding TESC course listing, you may get UL credit even if it comes from a 2-year school.

Either way, you should be able to find Project Mgmt and one of the Logistics options somewhere. Those have pretty broad application to many degrees, and should be widely available.
