Charter Oak: Rumors or for realsies?
#1
One reason im thinking Im gonna go through Charter Oak is cuz their Liberal Studies concentration requires only 18 UL credits while EC wants 30.

At least thats what ive been hearing and reading
but i just had someone on this forum message me and tell me that he thinks Charter Oak now requires 30UL credits like TESC and EC.
If thats so then that totally blows.

Anyone know if thats legit?
Thank you!

This is a post that I have seen on the subject:

http://www.degreeforum.net/excelsior-tho...-ever.html

I'm not sure if it varies by degree.

I also don't know if the 2 schools differ in a capstone requirement.

If you want to contact them, it looks like COSC will tell you about the policy.

Wow man - thats totally and completely lame.

Why would they do that? Their 15UL requirement deal was really all they had going for them.
I felt kinda weird about the whole General Studies and concentration deal but i was willing to take it so i could just got that piece of paper that says im a certified Bachelor.

But shoot - they dont take the ALEKS Stats as upper level like Excelsior. They probably dont take Penn Foster's Cost Accounting as UL like Excelsior.
They cost more than Excelsior. They dont got any exams. Even their Liberal Studies plan is more strict than Excelsior and you have to write a freaking book of rationales and resumes just to even MAYBE get approved for it.
PSh!
forget that then - ill just go with Excelsior then. Hate their name but ill learn to shout it with pride when someone asks where i graduated em.

"EXcELsIoR!!!"

hahaha

thanks for the reply dude
