For those who are contemplating enrolling at Charter Oak, they now offer 10% off all tuition and fees for the rest of your bachelor's degree if you have taken four classes through Straighterline. For new enrollees only, and there is a scholarship interview involved.

It's been a couple years since the previous post. Has anyone received this discount or "scholarship"? Can anyone tell us about the interviews with both Charter Oak and Straighterline? Is the discount automatic for new students or are there additional criteria?

Yep! I have two sons receiving the discount. It's 10% off of the tuition you pay - at a minimum that will be the Cornerstone and Capstone.
My son's advisor didn't know about the scholarship, she did tell me there was a "discount" code on the account- so you may have to reframe it when you ask if you're getting it, but we're getting it and very happy!

Thanks! Is there an interview by both Straighterline and Charter Oak? Any conditions for the discount?

No, nothing like that. You have to submit the request form through your Straighterline account. When COSC receives it, they will activate the coupon as part of your account. It should appear automatically from that time forward.

My 20 year old is doing the individualized studies option. His "major" is Hospitality & Management (you have to combine 2 or more) and my high school senior is getting his AS in general studies.
