Ok here's the deal: COSG has a conferral date for July 31st. All updated transcripts (i.e. exam results, I'm assuming) must have been in by June 30th. The next conferral date is Sept. 30th. I begin law school Sept. 2nd., however, I somewhat missed the June 30th. deadline. Two of my exam scores have not yet been recived by the school yet (They should receive them this week). Also, my academic autobiography has not yet been approved (they're still evaluating it). I'm not sure if the academiuc autobiography is suppose to be approbved by that date or simply received by that date....
So does that mean I would have proof of graduation until Sept. 30th? Will my transcript show "degree earned" before that date? Generally, the law school requires proof of your BS degree before classes start. Adn advise/opinions/random thoughts?

I can tell you I just got all my info into TESC at the last minute and through pushing them my degre was approved on June 30, 08.
This makes Sept 12, 2008 my official conferral date and I will get my diploma after that.
Just this Thursday I received two official letters in the mail with official date stamps addressed "To whom it may concern" saying I have officially met all the requirements. I would think if you can get something like that it should be good enough for the law school.

I hope COSC is similar. Now when you say "last minute", what was the due date and when did you submit?

I took my last CLEP on JUne 12, out of state.
It only got to TESC about the 20th and The I called and e-mailed on the 27th explaining I needed it completed so I could apply for a job.
THey rushed it through and certified me on the 30th. So I made the July 1st cutoff and can graduate in September.
Like anything else I think the squeaky wheel gets oiled.

I am hoping they accept most of my credit for their BSHS in CJ, besides doing the dreaded Practicum.
Other than that I am 7 units shy with EC, right now , so we see who has the better deal.
