Hi all. I'm new on this forum and I don't want to mess up the Wiki. I was going through the Wiki about the plan for WGU BS in Information Technology and I noticed some things we can add. I would appreciate if someone can double check my info and if it's correct and you know how to do it, update the wiki?
Anyhow, here are my notes:
Intro to Communication: add Sophia- Introduction to Business (No Touchstone)
American Politics and the US Constitution ------ SOPHIA--- U.S. History I (*NOT* U.S. Government)
Scripting and Programming - Foundations -----SOPHIA---- Introduction to Java Programming
User Inteface Design - -----Add Google UX Design Professional Certificate----- (free on Coursera through the American Dream Academy, but
hurry up signing up for it because the ADA will stop enrollments in a few months. Also, you can always apply for financial aid on Coursera, it's easy to get and they don't ask for proof of income so it's fast and easy to apply. Don't forget to mention you're a struggling student!)
Emerging Technologies ----- Study.com----- *Computer Science 310 (SDCM-0221)
Thanks!

You can't take Introduction to Business, that's not an option.

Added Google UX Design Professional Certificate and other Google certs to other course options

That course is ACE expired and not eligible for credit.
Sophia courses can be tough to match if you don't know the course id's. Use this as a guide.

I was confused by this and checked: you can take them, they just don't work for these requirements.
US History I is SOPH-0022. For the BSIT, this works for the Introduction to Physical and Human Geography requirement but not for American Politics.
Introduction to Business is SOPH-0014. For the BSIT, this isn't accepted for any requirement.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210
