I thought it was easier but i think it depends on the topic. I took a history course, it was the same as the online class but no discussion board and not set date to turn things in. They all have to be in by the last day of the class. I was kinda like an independent study program.

I do not have experience with online classes. I have taken 3 CD-ROM classes with excelsior. They are a little harder I've heard. You only are graded on 4 things: 2 papers, a midterm, and a final. The grading is very strict. It took a lot of work to recieve an A. You really have to study and do all the reading.
