Capstone Requirements

Are there any online regionally accredited colleges that do not require a capstone? I know TESC did not until recently.

TESC's business programs allow you test out of or transfer in Strategic Management. A lot of schools don't have a capstone, but they all require around 30 credits or more be taken in residence. Athabasca has a 90 credit program that allows 100% transfer, but credit by exam is not allowed.

I can not speak for every college, but a friend of mine graduated from St. Edwards University here in Austin Texas a couple of years ago, they required a Capstone for his bachelors degree that was pretty close to what he also ended up doing for his masters degree a couple of years later.

I have also heard that the University of Texas at Austin now requires a capstone as well but have not confirmed it. It appears that from what limited things I have seen, that more and more universities are requiring a capstone. I am sure the depth and breadth of the capstone will vary based on the college.
