I may move about when a second term would start and I don’t want to do classes during the move. Has anyone paused their Master’s degree instead of paying the next subscription and then picked up again once they relocated their entire farm?? I hate to wait when I could knock out a lot of classes now and I prefer to do competency based education if possible so was thinking to go with WGU.

Hmm, have you reviewed their web pages for their policy or emailed them? There should be options for those that have 'something happens' situations where they need to delay their education to get that something done... You can't pause during the term, but after/before the start of the next term, it should work...

Awesome, hopefully the 3 months break max would be sufficient for your move... Planning is in order... Good luck!

Can you take a term break after every term? Like a 1 month break?

You can, but most likely with all the transfer credits (max of 90), you may be able to complete the remaining credits in the first term. Even with a break, you should be able to complete it in the second term, otherwise the costs will go up when you do a third term. If you know your budget, commitments, study habits, and with some pre-planning, you can get this done in a term and at max a second. If you know you'll take a third term, it may be better to go TESU or another route such as UMPI unless of course the degree you're wanting is only offered at WGU.

I've known students who have done this (term break, by design) in order to maximize their employer tuition assistance. It works best with the goal to accelerate the program, and careful start date planning (up to three terms max, otherwise the 'pause term math' starts to fail). Yet another reason to max your transfers in before starting at WGU. And just to be clear, you cannot transfer in from outside during a pause (as you'd still be considered an active/enrolled student - the pause works more like taking the 'summer off).
Amberton - MSHRB
TESU - ASNSM/BSBA

This is good thinking!!!! Although, in my case, I would not be able to transfer much of anything into the NP programs at WGU. You can, but pricewise it doesn't make much sense.
