Sending Transcripts to TESU

Hello All,

Does anyone know if you can send transcripts early to TESU, The course work I have completed for my CC is done for now until May when the final classes are up. I want to send in my transcript to TESU now to see how these courses will be brought in. I plan on officially applying to TESU on or around 1/10/2017. Was going to make my transcript request a few days ahead of time even though it wont matter because I heard they take there sweet time to evaluate everything. My only concern is if my transcript gets there prior to applying will they just toss it or hold it for a certain amount of day?

well if you send it before you apply, how will they know what to "do" with it?

I sent my HS transcript to the CC im attending months in advance of applying and they put it on file with my name on it in the event I applied. I guess it doesn't really matter when I request it may as well wait until I apply. I am just a little eager to see how these classes will come in and hope they hit where I put them in my plan.

Except for delaying the $75 fee, there's no real reason to wait for another couple of weeks. Either way, you won't get any info out of them until you're accepted and they've had time (a month or so) to digest the incoming transcripts.

It will be 25 business days from when you APPLY before they complete the eval, even if you send the transcripts in first. If they get the transcripts without your having applied, I'm sure they will sit on them for a period of time before getting rid of them, assuming that you're applying. But it won't change how quickly your eval gets done. Most transcripts are electronic and come in a day or two after you request them anyway. And, if you were sending in 10 transcripts, and they all came in at different times during your eval period, it wouldn't matter either. They all get done on the 25th business day, whether they've been sitting on them since before you applied, or they got it the 24th day. They're just awesome like that (not).

Thanks All, Not sure why I wanted to send them in early, I guess just to get it done.. I'll just wait until I apply and then send in everything all at once. Soon as I finish all my study.com courses is when I planned on it. Then I can send my ACE Transcript it too. From what I have saw any courses I do through SL can be sent directly to TESU? Is that correct?

Yes, SL is a partner school and can send the transcripts directly to TESU (although I would also have the added to your ACE transcript as well).
