Although SDC is pass/fail, they can show scores on their transcripts if the recipient school wants.

OMG! Grad school require a Ace transcript!!!That's the worst news that I have ever heard.....
I wouldn't worry too much since most students get away with Cs anyway and can still get a master degree or above.

Howerer, there are 4 assignment which are so difficult!

The question I want to ask is, can I get 20 points for writing only one or two assignments, and then hand in blank papers for the remaining two assignments or writing only a little bit to get 0 points. Can I get pass the course like this?

You can submit blank submissions for the ones you don't need and they'll grade them zero's and pass you. Or that's how it used to be anyway.

A long time ago they would just pass you when you hit the threshold for the class and you didn't even need to do that, but it's not like that anymore.

I say give it a try and see what happens. You'll allowed to submit papers more than once so worst case scenario you just have to do the paper. Also, if this works, I would not come back here and brag about it because they read this board and if you start telling people that there's a way around it they will change it again.
Then how are we supposed to know if it works if no one brags about it?  Big Grin  sdc people check this board to apply changes?  Huh

I just calculated my weighted gpa at sophia.org and excelsior college. The gpa is 3.55/4. I didn’t use all my strength on sophia.org, and I thought it would be useless for postgraduate application,as long as it can pass 70%. I'm sad now. Sad

Sophia can reset ur course and allow u to retake it if u r not happy with ur grade. But its advisable only if ur school will ask grades for ur Sophia courses and u r definitely not happy with current grades. So ultimately its upto u to decide if u want to retake courses again

Sophia allows one retake for each challenge, unit and milestone so you can adjust and improve as you go. The chat there helps with resetting, during the day, workdays but when the chat is active it is done in a minute or so.

I would hold all the bragging for after you get the degree, personally. Any time you get anyone to bend a rule for you or whatever I would just keep it to yourself til you finish the program.

I am not going to do this now . Grad school might ask my ACE transcript.

I would just put the extra energy/time into the course as it saved you the energy/money/time already compared to a regular course at a college or university. Doing that extra assignment or two will help you in the long run as you get "feedback" on how to improve your grades and how the format/rubric works for each Upper Level course you take. The more feedback, the better you get with each additional course crossed off your list... Study.com is the major Upper Level course provider I am taking courses from... and this is for the sake of learning, not just getting the credits!
