Making this a sticky thread, as an FAQ, general reference, etc. This is for providing advice and recommendations, please create another post or thread if you have questions and want some answers, feedback, or start a discussion.

My recommendation for Homeschoolers (depending on their age) is the following:
Under 13 - Affordable or online options, such as Easy Peasy, Khan Academy, etc. For grade 8 and lower.
13+ : add dual enrollment, AP/IB, CLEP, plus ACE/NCCRS, you're getting college level credits really cheap

Once you graduate high school, the cost to college goes up, dual enrollment is usually less than half the price!
Don't skimp out on your education, find a budget, learning style, medium or platform, that suits your needs.

Last but not least, work on the trifecta - certs, degree, experience. Coursera, EdX, etc is college credit worthy. Experience doesn't have to be paid, volunteering gets you through the door, working part-time at companies that provide tuition assistance also works well.
