I think this thread is better placed in here: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Forum-G...r-colleges
1) Are you trying to take a set of courses from Alternative Credit providers and transfer them to CSU Pueblo for a credential?
2) Is there a specific set of courses or a program, maybe even a degree you're looking for? What are you wanting to take at CSU Pueblo?

Criminal justice courses, then transfer them to TESU.

Their Independent Studies program is supposed to be a good one - it's been around a long time. Self-paced and $615/course.

Does the student need to be graduated from high school? Dd would like to take a couple of cj courses, too, for next year. She will be a senior then.

I don't think so - but there are certainly cheaper places to take courses as a high school student.  Not sure what state you live in, but check for free DE first; then look at Husson University in Maine, they allow students from other states to come and take courses for free; WVU is $25/cr; BYU-Idaho is $30/cr; Concordia University Wisconsin, Trine University, Missouri Southern State Univ, and WTAMU are all $50/cr.

I could go on and on, but no need to pay $200+/cr for a high schooler.

Yes, you are right. I'm sorry I should have explained better. Yes, we do get free dual enrollment in our state. We were looking for upper level CJ for a BACJ from TESU. She has about 80 credits between sophia, teex, instantcert, cc, oru. I think her next move should be to look for upper level courses for her aos- cj. Hoping that by the time she graduates she will just need the 2 required courses from tesu.

Ah - yes that makes sense.  I would look at the 4yr schools that offer inexpensive DE and see if any have the UL CJ courses she needs.  That would certainly be cheaper than CSU-Pueblo.
