They are too expensive, why use them when there are multiple cheaper options elsewhere? The Big 3 and WGU are all cheaper, and you aren't going to have "global" on your diploma to immediately alert future employers that you got your degree online.

Are online degrees really that frowned upon?

Not everyone looks down at online degrees, but I am just a bit cautious about announcing it so...loudly.
