I tried searching the forum for feedback but didn't find any. Has anyone taken any courses through CSU Global? I don't mean the competency exams. You can take individual courses there correct? If so, how are their courses and how do you/did they transfer? Thanks

Hi Joe, I think most, maybe noone here has taken an actual course at CSU Global. Their actual courses are quite expensive. However, by taking a a CSU Global CBE exam, I was placed into a shell of a course, so I still saw what most actual students would see(there just wasn't quizzes, other assignments or a professor). Your best bet if you want to know if something will transfer, is to email academicadvising@tesu.edu. They usually email back within a few days letting you know if that course will transfer. Again, most people here wouldn't go to a CSU global course due to the high cost of $1,050 per course. A CBE is $250, so it's a 1/4 of the cost. Then you have TECEPS, which are about half that cost etc.

Thanks TESUAbroad for the reply. I was looking into CSU since I'm trying to find a course to fit an AOS class. http://www.degreeforum.net/excelsior-tho...olicy.html
As of right now though, I'll probably end up just shelling out the money to TESU.

It's still a lot cheaper than TESU, unless you're a NJ resident. I would consider it.
APU is about $800/course, so you might want to look there.

Did you mean CSU Pueblo Independent Study? I have seen it mentioned here and they have a variety of courses and aren't outrageously expensive. https://www.csupueblo.edu/extended-studi...index.html

Their post is from 4 years ago. That poster last visited 3 years ago on 04-18-2018, 05:54 PM. It's best to start your own thread with CSU Pueblo as the subject. It's not CSU Global so most reading this won't be able to help you.
