Hi again,
I still need College Algebra (TESU MAT-121). I was planning to take it at my local cc over the summer, but you guys are convincing me that it would be cheaper and possibly easier to test out of it. I would appreciate some guidance. From reading here, this is what I've gleaned about the College Algebra testing choices:

I would appreciate some guidance. From reading here, this is what I've gleaned about the College Algebra testing choices:
- Saylor/NCCRS
- CLEP
- TECEP
- Straighterline
Random relevant stuff:
- I am currently enrolled at the local cc taking the pre-req for that class. Am now considering dropping it. Drop date is March 14 but will get a W on the transcript. I'm OK with that if I can develop a good plan between now and then.
- I don't understand how Aleks credits work. I've done Aleks in the past (stats) and didn't like it.
- Just signed up for IC last night.
- I want to be finished with everything for the Sept graduation (July 1 deadline).
- I'm not math-phobic but I do need a good plan.
Ideas??
BSBA/Accounting TESU (2016). MSA UIUC (2018).
Need help with portfolios? I earned 18 credits at TESU through portfolio evaluations. Nine of those were for upper level accounting courses. My advice for PLA/portfolios: TESU portfolio tips The first post has the Portfolio Checklist I created. Page ten has the actual narrative I wrote to receive credit for ACC-440.
Using Straighterline's Financial Accounting as a substitute for TESU's Intermediate Accounting I? Don't do it if you are an accounting major and/or want your CPA license. They are not the same course and I think TESU has erred in accepting the SL course as Intermediate I. I made this discovery here: Intermediate Accounting II.
