COSC General Education Question
#1
If a 3 credit course satisfies two different general education areas (such as history and behavioral science), do the 3 credits only apply in one general education area or will one course satisfy both? Thanks!
#2
It's not uncommon for a course to satisfy more than one requirement. FFor example I took one threefor course. It was ethics, Upper Level, and applied to my concentration. What course are you refering to?

AS in EMS August 2010

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

Here is the key to exam credit Charter Oak State College - List of Exams
Here is the master list http://www.charteroak.edu/Current/Academ...r-list.pdf

As you can see many exams cover more than one category...the DSST Human Cultural Geography for example fulfills 3 areas.

DSST: Human/Cultural Geography applies to global undestanding and non-US culture. I want to know if that one exam/course satisfies the requirement for both Gen Ed areas. Thanks.

So to clarify: If I take this exam, I no longer need any courses in all 3 of those areas?

Thats right, you will still need 60 credits for an AA or AS, 120 for a Bachelors, but the one exam satisfies three General education areas in this instance. There are a few more that knock out more than one requirement.
