I recently graduated from TESU, however, for employment reasons I need to get letter grades on my SL and SDC courses taken. To make sure I understand the credit banking at COSC correctly, if I send the grades direct from the source they will show the letter grade sent to them. The person I spoke with at COSC said essentially they give you the credit on a RA official transcript as if I were enrolling with COSC except it is only for employment/certification type reasons.
In addition to the classes I've already taken I need to find 3 upper level English/literature courses (preferably SDC or even better if there's limited writing).
Any ideas?

Any ideas? SDC English 305 only has one writing assignment I was reading about that one earlier. It looks like it comes in as lower level now .

I don't know anything about credit banking. confirming what you think. Even though ACE recommends SDC English 305 as UL (and at TESU that is how it came in for me), it looks like Eng 305 is LL at COSC according to the sdc transfer guide. https://study.com/college/school/charter...llege.html
It is not a literature course, but technical writing (and only one assignment). Don't know if that matters for your needs.

The only UL course that meets your needs is ENG 301: Non-Western Literature, but I don't know how COSC will bring that in (they haven't evaluated it as far as I know).
I can't remember if Coopersmith is a partner, and don't know how COSC will bring this in (it's NCCRS), but they have LIT-401: Medieval Hispano-Jewish Poetry.
If neither of those will work, there are some options that are relatively inexpensive (relative to regular college courses, but not cheap by our standards):
U of Arkansas Self-Paced Online ($165/cr=$495/course)
CIED3103: Children's Literature
U of Idaho Independent Study ($190/cr=$570/course)
Engl 313: Business Writing
Engl 317: Technical Writing
Engl 4476: Shakespeare

ENG 370: Rediscovering the Fairy Tale Thank you that's a lot for me to look into. I was thinking of going with COSC due to being able to get a letter grade from SL and SDC, but maybe it makes sense to not so the credit banking and just go with either a certification or go straight to a few courses at a traditional school. Quicker the better but like I said I need a letter grade.

FHSU may have some UL English courses. They're tuition is $217 a credit. They're a university so hopefully their courses would transfer as UL unlike some of the alternative credit options. Those UL courses can be a pain to locate.
