I took it end of spring semester this year. If you've had an English course any time recently it wont be an issue. Felt like busy work at some points but definitely a nice way to get back in the swing of things for taking a college course.

Other than the two writing specific books, Outliers was actually a pretty interesting read. Each week I would listen to the designated chapter from an audio book on YouTube just to get a feel for the chapter then go back and underline parts I found interesting and useful to the weekly discussion.

I took it last year and it was pretty easy. I think they've changed some assignments since then though but I doubt they increased the difficulty of the course.

Not sure if you have read over the syllabus yet but you can get a feel for what will be required each week and get ahead on some of the reading if you already have the books. Or like I mentioned in my last post Outliers complete audiobook is on YouTube, it was actually the first thing my instructor sent out as an announcement to the class with a link to it. Outliers is probably the only required text I've had for a course that I actually enjoyed reading each week and even read ahead some weeks.
