I'm idly curious....I not really planning to go for a master's degree when I finish my undergrad, but I haven't ruled out the idea for the future. Can someone tell me if CLEPs or DSSTs can be applied to a master's degree?

Cleps are all lower level and the Dantes upper level exams are only for undergraduate degrees.

It's not unusual for MBA programs to accept CLEP and less often, DSST exams, to waive some background courses.

I believe some schools will let you apply GRE exams toward master's degree credits.

I found that after I tested out of my BS degree that I was going into withdrawals too. Come to find out, the same study habits I used for Cleps and Dantes I could apply towards my MBA at CCU. It was a bit different...a bit more in-depth but just as doable as any other tests. A Masters is just the same as any other test, just more in-depth. Don't be intimidated by it...You can do it too!

It's not clep or dsst, but you can get credit for the PMP and Microsoft certs from Charles Sturt and Aspen.
In fact, I believe
Charles Sturt awards 6 credits for MCSE/DBA which is half the degree (it's 12 credits).
So, if you're a certified Microsoft guy (and I think they do it for Oracle too) - you may already be half way to a masters.
