I recently stumbled across this software called CLEP Professor. Has anyone had any experience with it? Is it worth the money?

I almost bought the CLEP Professor program for College Algebra after meeting the creator at a homeschool convention. His prep sounds like REA except with a lot more detailed explanations. The evalutation is also more detailed (there is a placement sort of test at the beginning).
Whether it is worth the money depends on if you would pass without it.

I bought CLEP professor for my daughter, and it is wonderful!
Half way through the CD, she has brought her score up 12 points on the REA exam! The second half of the CD is abit more difficult but she is trudging through and will be taking the College Algebra CLEP in a few weeks! It has worked a miracle!! I will REALLY know if it works miracles when she is done and I try it for myself!! LOL I also think we will purchase the PreCalc CLEP Professor as well. I know a lady whose son used it and passed as well.

Oh, I meant REA. I've never used ALEKS. It is similar to REA in content and set-up (review section followed by a couple practice tests).

Here's an update:
I am using CLEP Professor for Precalculus (almost done!) and am very happy with it. The only caveat is: Do NOT use this software if you have no previous experience with the subject (precalc in my case).
Since InstantCert does not offer any flashcards for the CLEP Pre-calc, I spent a lot of time searching for good study options for the exam. I used ALEKS, REA, Standard Deviants, and CLEP Professor. My favorite is CLEP Professor.
I started studying for Precalculus a long time ago, got distracted and quit, then started back up again. I am going to be glad when this is under my belt! I hope to take it this Thursday or next Tuesday.

Excellent. I just decided today to purchase the CLEP Professor for College Algebra. Hope it is as good as Precalc.
