I'm going through the online Peterson's tests now and I'm "passing" I think.
I am wondering how that compares to the the actual tests and approximately how many questions are on the actual tests.
Does it vary?

Hi Descotes,
It all depends on the exam. Sometimes, Peterson's is a good indicator but not always. The best approach to all exams is to study with multiple sources. Do a search for the specific exam feedback. Which CLEP are you studying for?

Peterson's practice tests are usually very reliable. They also tend to be slightly harder than the actual exam. If you score a 60% or higher on Peterson's, then go take the real test!

I wasn't really studying for any. I was doing the Peterson's online tests to see what the level of difficulty was for the one's I would need.

Agree with Levi. I found Peterson's to be a good representation. Just a bit harder than the actual exam(s). Good luck.
