After checking out the forum here, I stumbled across bain4weeks.com, which advocates using CLEP and DANTES exams. Initially, I was quite excited because this method allows for the accumulation of a good amount of credits in a short period of time. I decided to find some testing centers, but the closest ones only offer tests once per month, with a limitation of one test per session. Are the people who take more than one test per month using a different type testing center? Every center (usually community colleges in my area) I've contacted so far has a test limit of once per month.
For those who have gained credits via CLEP and DSST, was there a specific time frame and limit for tests?
Thank you all for your time.

It depends on where you are located. Several of the large universities here only offer testing once in a while, but others have more flexible scheduling. I was lucky that I found a local campus of Strayer (a for profit) that had a testing center that ran from 1PM-10PM every day. I would suggest you get on the CLEP website and go through every one in your local area. I think that Strayer/Devry etc probably have more flexible scheduling. The other option locally for me was the community college.
And the time limit and time frame is really up to you, if you can schedule the tests with the center you can take them all one after the other, even the same day (I personally had 3, 3 credit DSST's in one day). The specific tests have time limits of ~2 hours (CLEP and DSST are different and the tests have different actual times).

Don't know if you've used this link:
Test Center Search | CLEP
I took my CLEP tests at GA Perimeter. There was no limit (within reason, and the hours the center was open) to number per day/week/month.

BKahuna--Are you in Miami/South Florida like I am? If so, which Strayer Campus did you go to? I was feeling discouraged because it appeared from the schools' websites that the testing sites in the area only test during normal business hours while I am working (Miami-Dade College, etc.). Thanks!
