I have read some posts on how CLEP actually calculates your score. One basic question if you have researched a whole lot about CLEP scoring system. Let's say you are taking a CLEP exam with the lowest passage rate, does it mean that your cut off to pass the CLEP really low?

While no one knows for sure, I would say probably. The scoring system is scaled, so it stands to reason that a lower scaled score is needed on the harder exams than on the easier ones since they are scaled to represent the "C" student's ability.

My answer is yes...
Here is what I go by... The REA guides.. They have a little thing in the front of each book, that breaks down your % to the actualy CLEP score.. For example, for the principles of management CLEP, you only need 49% to pass... Some of the psyc ones, you need a greater %...
