How is the scoring as far as putting a word that means the same as the correct answer scored?
For instance, when going through the IC flashcards one of the questions asks what are the the 4 elements to make a contract valid? capacity, consideration, agreement, and _______.
the word to fill in the blank according to IC is legality, but I put legal subject matter and it counted it wrong... but it means the same thing and I was taught in my paralegal classes to word it the way I did.... so would I get it wrong if I worded it that way on the test as well? Had the same problem on a few other questions as well.... don't want to end up failing the test just because they word things differently even though it means the same thing.

The test is multiple choice, so in this kind of situation, you'll see the choices rather than have to type into a blank. If you know the material you can usually recognize the correct answer even if you haven't studied the specific topic.

oh, in the specific exam feedback forum someone said that there were fill in the blank qs just like the IC flashcards... hopefully I just misunderstood them then.

thanks

Not like the flashcards, unless CLEPs have changed a lot (it would have been mentioned here). Possibly like this:
________ were a fruit thought to be known to the Proto-Indo-Europeans
a. Apples
b. Plums
c. Cherries
d. Honeybees
e. Calvert Watkins

I took this 2 weeks ago.
The entire test is multiple choice.
IC does the blanks to try and force you to remember it...I was at the point that when I went through the flashcards, that I was giving several answers to my self before hitting next to see the answer....this prepared me for multiple terminology for the same idea.
Also, make sure you utilize the Peterson's free clep exam preps. This will give you an idea of how the test is setup...they have multiple choice on their test.
If you didn't see this link under the Business Law forum, here it is again, the link for the above test I mentioned are here:

Good Luck.
