i can only tell you what my husband and i did. macroeconomics was the second clep test i took after intro to soc (70, way overstudied for a p/f test, but i didn't know what to expect). it took three
very hard weeks to get ready for the macro test, and there were times when i was ready to throw in the towel, including getting my degree. i hadn't been in school since the late seventies, so this was a
huge adjustment for me. i thought that instantcert did an excellent job on the macro but i thought it was helpful to have some previous understanding of some of the concepts for micro. so i guess i would say that i am glad that we took macro first, then micro.
i also have to add that this forum site was a big help to me at that time. everyone is so positive and saying that yes, this can be done, at times it may not be easy, there might be setbacks, but we are doing it and you can too!
