Now THAT is dedication! Unlike his academic advisor, I know of others who have achieved similar accomplishments. One young man earned his B.A. in history at TESC at 17, and when he graduated high school the next year, he got a great job as a financial analyst on Wall Street. He taught himself financial analysis on the fly. After a year, he returned home and entered law school at 19. Now, he's a practicing lawyer in his early 20s.

All of us have different paths we take to get our degrees. These examples are of go getters who had the vision and the drive to start early. I didn't get the same vision or drive until my late 20s, but I came in years of practical work experience.

Congrats to Jack for his accomplishments! Congrats to us all!

Jesus, I wish I had shown that drive and initiative in high school. Better late than never, though, right?
