Hi Everyone
Does anyone know if I will be able to pass the humanities clep exam by just studying the IC Flash cards? Will I need to look at more resources? It is such a wide subject, I don't know what to learn and how deep I need to go into the different areas of study.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Look up the Humanities test on the Specific Exam forum. The information there is spot on, and will be very helpful to you.

You need to realize we all have our own methods for studying and testing. I prefer reading a textbook through and watching lecture videos, while others prefer flashcards. At 43, I have been exposed to many ideas and concepts that come up on exams without having to study a particular subject.
The key to success is finding out what works for you.

This is all pretty unintelligible, but you couldn't pass an exam after 2 months of studying, and yet you accuse other people of not being real students??

Generally you don't just study from one source and try to pass a test. Especially for such a broad test as Humanities, studying from a lot of resources and studying as many topics as you can, is best. I passed Humanities with 75 in a few weeks by doing that. And yes, I'm a real college student.

Everyone's background is different so your ability to pass this exam and what you should study is at least partially based upon what you may already know. Although there may be people here who solely used IC to take exams, if you have absolutely no background in Humanities be diligent and use more than one resource. The specific exam feedback section is very valuable and for every post that says they passed using only IC, there are a number of posts that lists Education Portal videos, REA, Sparknotes, etc. and other methods of studying.
You cannot blame anyone here for your failure to adequately prepare for an exam. You do have to take some responsibility for your own actions or inactions.

Don't miss out on something great just because it might also be difficult.
