My employer has agreed to help pay for my college education. YIPEE!
But I need to show that for each class/test I received a grade of B or better.
I'm currently attending TESC. As you know, they don't grade CLEPs/DSSTs.
Please - Any ideas on how I can credibly show my employer I got a B equivalent on these exams?

I suppose you could email Excelsior and ask for their grading scale for DSSTs, for whatever that would be worth. You really can't just explain the situation to your employer?

The REA study guides for the subject exams have a grade equivalency scale in the front. When my daughter applied to a master's degree program they wanted to see what grades her scores were worth so we faxed the grade scale for each test. After that she was accepted with no problems. If an RA graduate school program will accept them as proof, hopefully, your employer will as well.

Hi!
I was surprised to learn that some schools give grades for CLEP exams. Here is the current list at Kansas State University:

You may be able to search the web for more schools' lists.

Thanks. That sounds great! Except I don't have any of the REA study guides!
Did you have access to all of them? Or maybe the grades for each test are all in 1 book?

Sorry! I don't have access to all of them and the grades are not all in one book. Maybe your local library has some? Or maybe if you call REA directly (Telephone: (732) 819-8880) they might have some ideas that could help.

The American Council on Education has a table of recommended scores for B and C level grades on the CollegeBoard site:

Thanks for posting this. I have not seen it before.
Excelsior's DSST grade/score list is at the bottom of this page. (It is a bit outdated, since it does not include the refreshed scores.)
