Hey!
For anyone preparing to take the Biology CLEP, be prepared! I had the choice between taking Biology or Natural Sciences, and the latter may have been a better idea. I passed but with a 54. During the test I was about convinced that it would be my first CLEP failure.
I studied using:
Some InstantCert
Biology Demystified (I highly recommend as supplementary material!)
And REA Biology.
I was very familiar with all the general topics of biology (example: Vascular plants, Bryophytes, the organ systems) But it seemed that throughout the whole test I never got any questions based on those things. None about the organ systems, I remember that specifically. So make sure you study even the VERY specific aspects, even the things that may seem irrelevant.
Good luck! Remember, I passed!
