So, I took the first Peterson's test and got a 72. Does that mean I'm ready? I've read on here that some people shoot for 50 or 60, and I was agape when I saw my score. I have taken chemistry & physics classes and I'm a mathematics major, but I didn't expect to do that well.
Input?

That's a great score...I didn't even pass the 1st or 2nd Peterson's and I passed the CLEP but take the 2nd and 3rd one just to be sure...
good luck!

Wow that is a really good Peterson score! :iagree: with purpleteen. Take the other petersons if for nothing else but to quiz yourself. What resources have you been using to study or did you just try the petersons to see where you were?
Good luck!

I answered your question in this thread:
http://www.degreeforum.net/general-educa...-clep.html
I do need to clarify this statement: "You should not compare these percentages to my CLEP Biology score of 73, because that is a scaled score, not a percentage."
What I meant to convey is that you shouldn't conclude what percentage of items I got correct on the actual CLEP test. However, the percentages on the Peterson's tests were about the same as my actual CLEP score value.
With the score you have, you are ready to pass the real test. Stop thinking about. Go do it.

I just took test 1 and got an 85/110.
I was surprised that it was that easy.
I don't even really know my meiosis/mitosis very well which is sad because I took a class on it in 1994.
Next up, practice test 2.
