I'm waiting on a couple of CLEP vouchers from Modern States now. I really like how I can stay in bed and study, because when I am sick, I hate being bored. Studying takes my mind off of feeling crappy.
My kid gets up every morning and grabs her laptop which is on her nightstand, and does schoolwork in bed.
My laptop doesn't even make it to the nightstand. It just stays on the bed, lol! I love doing schoolwork in bed.
I am going to have to resign from AmeriCorps because the ME/CFS has been kicking my tail. I have been in a flare, in bed, for three weeks. I hate that I have to do this, but it's better for me if I just find something that I can do from home. My therapist keeps reminding me that I need to put myself first.

A woman I know has Ehlers-Danlos. She has some notable disability. She is studying to become a Psychotherapist. Not physically strenuous. Potential financial independence. Flexible schedule. Covid worries her. She hopes to work from home.

I have a disability - some days are full of pain and fatigue, other days are absolutely normal. That's why I strongly prefer self-paced education and WFH arrangements. That's the only way for me to excel.

I have CFS and Fibro and a few other things. I'm housebound for the most part. Getting my degrees online has been a wonderful thing and I will be pursuing an online adjunct professorship afterwards. I was a fulltime holistic healthcare worker during the day and a copywriter by night but the fatigue made me close the business.

Is there anyone here in any of these categories and has it affected your education/career in any way?
