Lexyfly,
I depends what credits you currently have, and are you going for a general business degree or something with a specialized focus. I attend Excelsior College doing a BA in business with a focus on Human Resources. Most of the CLEP and DSST tests will cover your general education requirements, or at least some of them. My advice is to choose your major in business. Then consider which school you would like to attend. There are numerous colleges but most people talk about "the big three" TESC, EC and COSC each has their own advantages. Do you need a GPA when you present your degree to a future employer. If so you'll need to take classes at the actual school for inclusion in your GPA or at another school and transfer the credits over. Otherwise it is possible to test out of about 90% of a business degree using tests referenced here. The other issue is costs, TESC yearly enrollment is expensive aprox 3,000 a year EC has less expensive enrollment but requires you to take either a 12 courses and only pay $180 under a partnership agreement or $1000 each year. COSC has a per semester cost as far as I can remember. There are a number of variables which make each school more attractive to people. If you live in CT or New Jersey or New York then your "local big three" college may cost even less and worth considering since it allows you to claim State funding for classes in addition to your FAFSA entitlements.
My suggestion to people who have been homeschooled in America or received a decent American education is to focus on exams with content you already know. If you can speak and write Spanish there's a six credit exam which is available which could solve some humanities credits. If you are good at U.S history there are two tests which can help you gain 3 credits each which would deal with some of your social science requirements. That's a start if you have any questions feel free to ask, it is hard work but totally worth the work. Welcome to the forum by the way.
P.S
Sanantone listed some good resources above, please note that the exams listed as higher or upper level which aren't business related don't count towards higher level courses at Excelsior since they aren't higher level course specific they would work well for a liberal Arts degree but not for a bachelors of Science which is what Business is at Excelsior. If you are interested I can private message you my MAP detailing all the credits needed for my degree if you needed it.
Don't forget that gaining college credit by taking exams is one of the reason's we're here. That's mainly possible through the flashcards made available by the owner of this forum :
