Hi All, just browsed Brandman and found a few new ones for MyPath.
Brandman has a competency based degree program called MyPath and they recently added a few degrees and options.
They now have degrees from Associates, Bachelors, and up to Masters, all through their competency based degree model.
The recent additions are: BSIT Data Science and BBA GIS & Data Analytics
BSIT https://www.brandman.edu/academic-progra...nce-mypath
BBA https://www.brandman.edu/academic-progra...ics-mypath
The max transfer credits into the program is 75% of the degree requirements.

What is with these schools and making their degree names convoluted?
My community college had one that I actually got and always list as AAS Computer Networking Technology but the real name is AAS in Cisco Systems Advanced Computer Networking Technology Software
For a Bachelor's degree, though, I think Brandman has taken the cake with BBA Gobal Information Systems & Data Analysis for the longest, most unnecessary Bachelor's title I've seen this year
Master of Business Administration, Universidad Isabel I, 2021
Master in Management & Team Management, Universidad Isabel I, 2021
Master in International Trade, Universidad Isabel I, 2021
Master in Supply Chain Management, Universidad Isabel I, 2021
Master in Project Management, Universidad Isabel I, 2023
BS Information Technology, Western Governors University, 2017
AAS Cybersecurity, Community College, 2017
FEMA Emergency Management Certificate, 2017
Fundraising Specialization Certificate, Berkeley/Haas, 2020
Undergraduate Credits: 165 Semester Credits
Graduate Credits: 105 ECTS (52.5 Semester Credits)

Brandman add me an MBA with a Project Management concentration and I'm in! Or a MS in Project Management. Either way. I'm hopeful that they will add more master's degrees under the CBE format.

Has anyone on DegreeForum actually gone through a Brandman University MyPath degree program and graduated? I am interested in their MyPath program but I can't find any info at all about anyone who did their degree program (while WGU has approximately 45000 members on their subreddit with lots of student reports/reviews/testimonials)

I feel like WGU advertises like crazy. I get at least one FB ad for them a day. I only see a handful of other schools. Purdue Global and Brandman come up periodically, but only after I have been to their websites. WGU comes up all on its own. I saw an add for grad school at TESU in a banner on CNN or People's website today which was odd....haven't looked at that one before! WGU comes up in the banner ads on websites often as well.

Interesting observation. This clearly is based on market and demographics. I use ad blockers on my web browser so I almost never see banner ads anymore. I will occasionally see educational ads that pop up in my Facebook app or TV commercials, but I have never seen a WGU ad.
I usually see SNHU, Grand Canyon University, and the University of Phoenix. More recently I have seen a couple of ads for the University of Maryland Global Campus (formerly UMUC) and Purdue University Global, but those are pretty rare. SNHU and GCU ads are on TV all the time.
Working on: Debating whether I want to pursue a doctoral program or maybe another master's degree in 2022-23
Complete:
MBA (IT Management), 2019, Western Governors University
BSBA (Computer Information Systems), 2019, Thomas Edison State University
ASNSM (Computer Science), 2019, Thomas Edison State University
ScholarMatch College & Career Coach
WGU Ambassador

I wonder if the difference is in my searches since I have been searching a great deal for CBE programs. Last summer I saw a few ads for SNHU and a handful for GCU. I see Purdue ones now, but my husband is attending there so I figured the ads come from him going to their website every day. He uses one of my laptops for school. I never get UMPI ads though! Maybe I let them know. LOL

When I watch YouTube on my phone, I sometimes see ads for University of the People or for various foreign universities. I should watch while on an American IP and see what ads I get then.
