Lol I'm 5 foot 9 and weigh 115. My grandmother died from high BP. My blood pressure is 115/65. Is that normal?

Well, when you're buried in a hefty school load then your BP is probably going to be higher than when you're relaxed and free from "school stress." Wink

Really though, your BP sounds normal to me... check this site out: Blood Pressure Chart - Normal Blood Pressure Range

If you don't want to be like your grandmother, then make sure to eat a low sodium diet and get at least 30 minutes of aerobic exercise every day.

First of all, we need to start feeding you some steaks and other foods to get you up to at least 130Lbs. No more salads for you. Then we can worry about your blood pressure. hilarious 115/65 is in the safe zone.

*growls about the illusion that steaks are healthy* If there's a history of any kind of major health issues, meat is just about the last thing that they should be eating in excess Wink

115 is super light for 5'9, though!! Do you have any idea how many calories you eat a day?

Almost 2,000 a day. I have a fast metabolism. I can eat all day and not gain anything.

I didn't mean eat steaks in excess, (although I sometimes do) just increase the protein intake. Of course, need to increase the intake of loaded mash potatoes (or baked potatoes topped with melted cheese my favorite), steamed vegies, seafood and all the other non-healthy stuff to make a person strong. But eat in moderation. :roflol:
You can throw in some fruit and salads if you want I guess.

Actually, science has in recent years proven that your body wasn't designed for all that many proteins, and some studies have shown that people who intake more protein are more likely to become sick and also have an increased risk for cancer. So, my recommendation is to eat plenty of the good stuff (fruits, veggies, grains, legumes, etc.). Wink
