My original degree plan from my school had them take my Biology credit from Microbiology that I have previously taken. Well, unfortunately, that is not the case. I need to take a general bio class with a lab (4 credits) and complete it by April.
My school doesn't accept ACE credit and if I CLEP it they will only offer me 3 credits.
Does anyone have any suggestions where I can take Bio and finish it by April or sooner? I have been searching the Web for hours looking at all the schools that offer classes online - but the majority I am finding, including my old Community College has one that ends in May. It will be too late.
Suggestions....
Thanks in advance
In terms of cost, the other suggestions posted here are better. However, another option which might be better since time is a factor here is KCTCS. You can take BIO 112 as well as the Lab and receive 4 credits from a regionally accredited community college. The total price is $753.40, which is a lot but you'd be able to finish it much faster than a semester-based course.
UPDATE: I just had a thought, you said that you could take the CLEP and receive 3 credits for that but would still need the Lab. What about taking the CLEP and just the Lab through KCTCS? You'd have to check with KCTCS and your school to see if that's okay, but the cost would only be around $300 then total and you could finish in plenty of time by April. Check it out!
