Is it possible to take a CLEP out of state, or does is it have to be done in the state where you live?

However, I don't know this for sure, so you might want to check it out directly with CollegeBoard.com: About the College Level Examination Program (CLEP). JoAnne ![]()

I can't imagine it would matter. I live on the border of NH and MA, and I've taken DSSTs in both NH and MA. I don't think CLEP would be any different, as they're in theory administrated equally across all testing locations, and they are reported to an often out of State institution.
