Hey there,
I'm studying to take the Biology CLEP and wanted to know if anyone had any tips or notes that they can share? I recently took the Humanities CLEP and someone provided me with the Flashcard notes in a printable format which was very helpful. Does anyone have this for Biology or know how I can get it?
Thanks for your help!
Elizabeth

Hello Elizabeth,
I will be taking my Biology CLEP on this coming wednesday. Here are the resources I have used:
High School Textbook (apologia)
Biology Smart (a fantastic book for simplifying all those facts)
REA's Biology Builder
FOR PRACTICE TESTS AND EXAMS:
Books:
Official CLEP Practice Test
Barron's
Websites:
Peterson's (really preps you for the real thing!)
CLEP Test Review | CLEP Test Review (this does cost $20 but very worthwhile)
Some little practice questions and great databases of lessons can be found here:
CLEP Exam Practice Tests - Free CLEP Test Help
Test Prep Review | Exam Practice for ACCUPLACER, ACT, GED, GMAT, GRE, LSAT, MAT, MCAT, NCLEX, Praxis, SAT and other Test Preparation
CLEP Info.com - Test Preparation and CLEP Exam Study Guides
I also adored The Biology Project from the University of Arizona-It was great to work through problems such as punnett squares:
The Biology Project
OTHER RESOURCES:
Another good yet basic website is Rader's
Rader's BIOLOGY 4 KIDS.COM
Another good book: Biology Demystified
Haven't used but know everyone loves is the Standard Deviant Biology Video
That's about all of the resources I've used. I hope this helps in your studying program!!!! Good Luck! When is your exam?
Best of luck!
