I’m currently studying for the Biology CLEP (have it in 2 weeks)... All of the previous posts have proved quite helpful in that studying. One of the reoccurring themes that I’ve noticed is that there seems to be a considerable amount of “graphs and charts” on this exam (I think one user said up to 10).
What kind of graphs are they and what do they ask you to do? I take it they would be mathematically oriented, is this the case? Do they deal with the growth of bacteria or something? I’m kind of at a lost because I haven’t seen any examples of graphs or charts in my study resources (which include my High School Biology textbook, IC, F-C-P the REA guide, and other additional material).
I may very well be over-thinking this, but with 5-10 problems potentially dealing with it, I can’t afford not to. Any insight on this specific topic (or any others) would greatly be appreciated.
In previous posts users have mentioned that there’s such a vast amount of information on IC that it was hard to recall any of it. Others have said it hardly helped them at all because the information learned wasn't relevant on the CLEP itself. Would it be better to narrow it down to a couple sections of IC’s flashcards, but know them and know them well (with other study resources as well)? So, if you had to retake the test, which 3-5 sections of IC’s flashcards would you do (around 250 cards give or take)? In other words, which IC sections prove most valuable for this test? Again any help would be appreciated. Thanks much!
