I just began studying for the biology clep. I purchased the REA guide but I heard that the practice tests are very easy compared to the actual exam. Any advice on books to purchase and/or any helpful study tips? Thanks! It's greatly appreciated!

Standard Deviants videos were extremely helpful. I'd suggest you use them in addition to other study materials.

I read an entire textbook, went through the IC cards, used many online study sources and took all 3 Peterson's tests. The key to this is understanding all the terms and using multiple study sources. Good luck!

This is a very hard test IMO. there is a ton of information you need to memorize- especially terms.
I used the REA book, IC, and "Biology demystified"
knowing the cell termiology will help immensly.
I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it ~Voltaire~
