Bachelor Degree without RA
#1
I have a question.
What bachelors degree can be completed using Shophia, study.com and Coursera.
I am thinking of doing BA computer science or BS CIS or BS information technology. I would like to only take the capstone and SOS1100 at TESU
Is this possible and is there a guide to follow?

You need at least 30 RA credits for the TESU degree, 24 if you are military.

Degree plans are here: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Category:TESU
Completed: HAU MBA | BA Economics (US)

New member, here... I'm a bit confused by this "30 RA credits" requirement that you mentioned for TESU because I have read posts about people transfering in more than 90 credits (from an Associates Degree, Sophia coursework, CLEP testing, etc) and leaving only 9-30 credits needed for a Bachelor's Degree. Specifically the BS Computer Science degree at TESU.

My goal is to transfer in more than 90 credits. Is that possible at any college?

For Canadian ehh-- you need a local Bachelor's degree and get it evaluated by WES https://www.tesu.edu/student-resources/t...e834b8ef-3
BACS - TESU Transfer Credit 243 but only require 3 credits for (LIB-4970) Capstone Project (117 transferred towards degree) to complete the BA in Comp Sci.
PhD—Morgan State, waiting (in 2nd round now)
PhD - University of the Cumberlands—Quit after some courses (Poor faculty and grading quality) and retain the ABD status
MAOL - UMPI
BBA - UMPI Accounting
BLS - IT & PM UMPI

MSc - e-Business Abrdeeen University
BSc - Infornation Technology  Univesity of London

The large majority of online courses and programs from US colleges will happily admit Canadians! That's how I got US RA credits and degrees while in Canada.

Of course a Canadian who isn't a citizen or permanent resident of the US can't receive US federal student loans or aid, and Canadian student loan and aid programs aren't principally built to fund Canadians to study online from the US.

Welcome to the board, it's great you're asking questions, what's the reason for non RA? Excelsior, TESU, allows the max transfers, the majority of institutions we recommend allow a max of 90 credits of alternative credits. Please provide more information asked for on the addendum and template here, for us to assist you better: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...Area-works

Hey, great question. Yes, it’s definitely possible to complete a BS in Computer Science, BS in CIS, or BS in IT and only take SOS-110 and the capstone at TESU. TESU allows up to 90 alternative credits from ACE or NCCRS-approved sources.
For a guide, check out the DegreeForum Wiki,  there are a lot of sample degree plans you can adapt. Once you know which program you’re targeting, it’s just about mapping the right courses to your plan.r

Do you mind sharing what worked for you so I can create a similar plan?

So far I have mapped what would be needed by study.com and Sophia. I am just confused as to where to get the RA credits. Will UPI give the RA credits needed?

How does him being in Canada make getting RA credits any trickier? I'm in Canada and I've had no problems. RA credits via Finnish unis is an option as well.
