I do not have access experence, so that is a little annoying to learn as I do the final.

I also am running in to "term differences" in the final. Like the report asks for data that is part of the data base - monthly sales (report requirement) vs annual sales (database requirement ). Or Sales Territory (database requirement ) vs Customer Territory (report requirement ).

How quickly did the drafts get returned or questions answered... I have milestones that are 4-5 days old that haven't been approved yet.

That's strange. I just looked at my final assessment, and I used Annual Sales on the Report. I would check with the teacher, though, to make sure.

I had Dawn Susee, and as I remember she took a while to respond to my questions, milestones, draft, and final.

Thanks, I'm going to move forward with the Annual sales data and adjust if I get a response - I want to be sure to send the draft by friday and have a Visual Basic program to write by Friday too... (and the other 50% of the course before that)...

This course is a poop show... The instructor is MIA for 3-4 Days at a time, Cody hasn't been any help in tracking her down, and she handle my BUS 245 course too.

I haven't had my Milestones approved and the only feed back is the same "Good answer." with the same case and punctuation every time...

My Visual Studio project is going on 30+ hrs of work and still doesn't function correctly, and can't get any direction from the instructor...

UMPI support seems to be a real issue with higher level instructors.

I'm sorry you're struggling. Have you emailed and called the professor? Some have their on campus phone number in the course. I know this is the last week of classes on campus and it's the hardest week to get professors to respond. Maybe reach out to Jessica and let her know the professor isn't responding to you and you've reached out to Cody and haven't gotten anywhere. Maybe she can try as well.

Jessica replied, I copied Cody on this so he is aware... When in the email to her I said 

"I am only reaching out because I am completely lost and the instructor is completely unresponsive for 3-4 days... (I notified Cody as well, during this time and he is trying to find out what the deal is)"

The class do not have any of the content required to get the project finished, so I have to resort to picking out bits and pieces of different youtube videos to get it completed. I am used to having to view YouTube and find Blogs to learn, I received my CCNA, MCSE and other certs by doing just that... Then again, I didn't pay $1400 to have to educate myself, the material should at least be mildly helpful in completing the finals.

Jumping into this Minor might have been a huge mistake, I only did so as all the other courses from UMPI have been fantastic with providing information relating to the finals.

I'll keep plugging away, though I don't expect to have the drafts done to hand in by tomorrow as none of my questions for he last 3-4 days have received any answers.

I don't feel comfortable posting the question to any of the programming forums as it relates directly to the content in the final... UGH...

I know exactly how you feel. Despite Googling and watching numerous YouTube videos, I haven't gotten very far with the BUS 245 final. I also haven't heard back from the professor since I emailed her. I think I'm going to withdraw from this class. Maybe I can do that Coursera certificate instead.

Shame you are not hearing from the instructor @amrly813 and the struggles on your side @uncoolbilly. As mentioned earlier in the thread, I enjoyed the Coursera course. With enough effort, you can complete the course within the trial period, allowing the process to come at zero cost. Before doing so, I would email the professor again, CC Cody, and you can leverage Cody for support on Monday if the professor does not respond.

Good to see you have the plan to knock out the course requirements. Hit the IBM Cert with steady effort because if you go in slow, it can feel daunting, but with the right effort, it's over before you know it.

Of course I received an email from the instructor, on 12/10/2022 the day after the drafts deadline. only after contacting Jessica, Cody and giving a course review that did not shine a good light... I did not submit a draft so we'll see how this goes... The VB program functions and meets the rubric so fingers crossed.
