Looking for insights on these two courses from anyone who's taken them recently (this year) - (am thinking of adding to current session shortly)
BUS 415 - Operations Management Have read this is a PowerPoint with a voiceover
BUS 489 - Business Policy & Strategy Have read this is a project. is it on the learning platform, or separate? is it taught by Professor Dorsey?
Any other helpful info on them?
thank you.

Sorry...just joined this. Wish I had known about this platform sooner.
BUS 415 with Professor Dorsey was a great course. I work in operations, so this course was fairly easy for me to understand. If you're good with PowerPoint, the final is not too challenging. Prof Dorsey is great with communication and gives great feedback. I wish I had her for some of my other courses. Not all the professors give great feedback...or respond in a timely manner.
BUS 489 is probably my least favorite course with my least favorite instructor. He's probably better in-person, but online communication with him is the worst I've had. I had the same issue with the same milestone that others posted about. His directions are not clear. I'm currently working on the final for the course and I fear I will fail because the directions for the final don't really make sense. And of course, since we don't seem to communicate well on the milestones, I've been afraid to even ask for guidance on the project. That one's on me though...I should have asked questions. Even his crypted non-answers could have given me something. Good luck if you take this course!

Keep in mind that many of the courses will be changing with the move to Brightspace in January.
