What was your experience & did you lose any of your nursing credits in the process? What did you end up earning your Bachelors degree in? Just trying to do some research. Was battling between COSC and TESC. Leaning toward COSC at first, but now sort of going with TESC. Here's the thing. If TESC actually offers a major, why don't they list it on your diploma and does it actually show up on your transcript? I don't mean to annoy people with this question, but it just doesn't make sense to me. If neither college really allows you to major in something, then it all sort of boils down to tuition with me now.
Have a lovely Tuesday. :patriot:

There are a lot of schools that don't put the major on the diploma. I really don't see this as an issue. Remember that you may well be asked what your major was in and this could be verified by providing transcripts. For example if you go on to graduate school, thay are gonna need your transcripts not your diploma for verification of your academic standing.
There are good and bad for each school, but the major being on or off the diploma is really not something to base your decision on IMHO.
I am attending COSC, On my resume I list "attending COSC seeking a BS degree in Organizational Leadership/Health Care" You can verify this by talking about specific courses during your intervies.
Just my opinion, but I really believe your overthinking this one.
I applied to COSC and Excelsior and got a better idea of what they were each offering me in terms of accepting my credits. With that info in hand I made the decision for COSC.
Good Luck !

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

You're way to worried about what the piece of paper says. If you went to Harvard but got your diploma says "Bachelors of Science" do you think it would matter?
I was a little worried too when I found out that TESC's finance degree is a "Bachelors of science in business administration with a concentration in finance" until I found out that was pretty much the norm from a business degree.
It's good that you're asking now rather than 2 or 3 (or whenever) years in the future.. but don't worry about it.

I'm not worried about what the diploma says, but I just don't understand if TESC offers a major or it's a concentration like COSC. In the end, for each college, I guess I'm wondering if the major shows up on your transcript. I heard for COSC it does not. I have more to add later. Thanks

Heya...so does your transcript list your major? I know it's not on the diploma. No biggie. I look at the diploma as a decoration for my home
