Hi all!
I'm having a challenging time understanding the AOS, and the advisor wasn't terribly helpful.
Here's what have done or planned:
Core requirement:
Ops management
APS4020 Total Quality Management
AOS Electives:
Management Infor Systems (SDC UL)
Database Management (2.67 LL)
Project Management (TESU August)
So, can I do basic LL for the last two? What can I choose from? TESU only gives me UL options but I will have hit the 12. How do I know what will qualify as AOS outside of TESU? The wiki says Principles of Supervision SDC and Intro to Enterpreneurship SDC. I'm worried the principles of supervision will duplicate the principles of management at Sophia for the business core. Also, just wondering in general if there are any other non SDC class as I'm maxed out of exams for this month.
Thanks!
For context, here is the rest of my plan so far with one UL (Sophia) in the BSBA Core:
Financial Accounting (LL) DONE college class
Managerial Accounting (LL) SDC exam left
Business Law (LL) DONE college class
Computers (LL) sophia intro to IT
Finance (LL) DONE sophia Finance
Management (UL) in prog sophia Principles of Management
Marketing (LL) done SDC Principles of Marketing
Business & Society (LL) done SDC International Business
Macroeconomics (LL) DONE college class
Microeconomics (LL) DONE Sophia
Quantitative Skills for Business (LL) CMS Learn in prog
Statistics (LL) DONE college class
Communications (LL) In prog Sophia Business Communications
Capstone TESU - Registered August
Gen eds are done

Principles of Supervision is MAN-200 from SDC. Principles of Management is MAN-301. As long as course numbers are different, they will not duplicate.

(Note: they will transfer in now as a 4-digit code; probably MAN-2000 and MAN-3010 but we don't know yet.)
You could also do Google's Project Management Certificate. If you're in the US, it'd be free through TADA. It comes into TESU as UL, but a lot of students have said it's pretty easy: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Coursera
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

You must have a full 15cr UL and 6cr LL - so the 2.67cr will not be at all helpful, and you can throw that out unless you have a 4cr course to make up for the lack of .33cr.
So take the following:
REQUIRED
- APS4020 Total Quality Management (TESU UL)
- BUS 312: Advanced Operations Management (SDC-UL)
ELECTIVES (take any 2 UL and any 2 LL)
- BUS 303: Management Info Systems (SDC-UL)
- BUS 315: Logistics and Supply Chain Management (SDC-UL)
- BUS 311: Project Management (SDC-UL)
- BUS 101: Principles of Management (SDC-LL) - will not duplicate Sophia course
- BUS 111: Principles of Supervision (SDC-LL)
TESU BSBA/HR 2018 - WVNCC BOG AAS 2017 - GGU Cert in Mgmt 2000
EXAMS: TECEP Tech Wrtg, Comp II, LA Math, PR, Computers DSST Computers, Pers Fin CLEP Mgmt, Mktg
COURSES: TESU Capstone Study.com Pers Fin, Microecon, Stats Ed4Credit Acct 2 PF Fin Mgmt ALEKS Int & Coll Alg Sophia Proj Mgmt The Institutes - Ins Ethics Kaplan PLA

Can you clarify this? On TESU website I see only an 18cr AOS - 6 required, 12 electives.
Academic eval says: Operations Mngt (18SH: 12SH must be upper level)

For the BSBA, it's a doozie, the Capstone is what you're missing that will go towards the 15 UL that was mentioned.

The 15-credit UL requirement is kind of hidden, even by TESU standards. Students need at least 1 UL class in Business Core + the Capstone + UL in the AOS.

Hmm, I believe it's the following, I need to verify, or someone can verify if there has been a change.
IIRC... For the BSBA it's 15 UL, the required 12 AOS/Major, along with the Capstone.
IIRC... For the BA it's 18 UL, this requires the 15 UL for the AOS/Major and the Capstone.
And to be on the safe side, sure, have something transferred for your gen eds/free electives as UL.

Advising told me today that I do not need any UL for the Business Core. I'll take it!
