BSBA CIS TESC Degree Plan!!
#1
Well after looking through forums for a few weeks and finally deciding on a BSBA CIS, I personally have never taken a CLEP or a DSST exam yet, hopefully soon in the future, currently working 60 hours a week and 9 credits hours at the moment at a Community College. Also any able to format this better, on a new Mac and not 100% used to this, I had it in textedit and had most stuff strikethrough, but It went away when I copied and pasted in here. So any help in adding the Computer classes needed for this degree would be awesome! Hopefully I can come up with more as well!

Don't use the Management Information Systems DSST as your required computer course and save it for the CIS concentration. There is also a TECEP for Networking Technologies. As long as it's currently ACE-approved, Penn Foster's Intro to Programming course should fulfill the programming requirement. You can be the guinea pig and ask TESC how they will evaluate TEEX's free, ACE-approved cybersecurity courses. See thread below. The hard part is finding systems analysis and design at a low cost. I'm sure another member has some recommendations. If you don't have any cheap community colleges in your district or state, then I suggest looking at Clovis Community College or New Mexico Junior College unless the state of New Mexico has changed its tuition policy for non-residents. I like Central Texas College's self-paced courses, but they are expensive for non-residents.

As far as your general education courses there are easier social science tests to take. Refer to the links below, but disregard TESC's human services category. Three of those tests have been counted as social sciences for many.

This degree plan wasnt necessary for me, but just a generalized Degree plan that I ripped from other BSBAs degree plans on the wiki. Just trying to further the movement on CIS degree plans and the need for them.
