I have 2 children who plan on attending TESC, I need to know exactly which classes they can test out of and which type of test they can take. I am new to this.

sanantone advised:
College Mathematics is below College Algebra. You need at least College Algebra and another math course that is higher like Precalculus or Calculus. For Physics I and II or Chemistry I and II, you need the labs. A CLEP or any other test won't give you lab credit at TESC. For the second science, there are easier tests such as the DSST for Environment and Humanity: Race to Save the Planet. If you don't want to bother with the economics course, you can move Ethics in America to the Responsibility Ethical Leadership requirement and take a diversity test such as Intro to World Religions or General Anthropology. Like Bluebooger said, you can't use CLEP Information Systems and DSST Intro to Computing. Those duplicate.

It doesn't look like you listed a course for "Foundations of Information Technology." You might be able to use the community college course for Computing and Information Technology. You can earn 4 CIS courses for free from TEEX. They are ACE-approved, and two of them are upper level. For the free electives, you can take FEMA and/or NFA courses for free. There are also another two business credits you can earn from TEEX for free.

Thank you for your input. Have you heard of this: NAU | Personalized Learning | Online Bachelor
What is COS, TEEX, FEMA , NFA?

Do you happen to have the financial plan worked out for the entire degree? This plan looks pretty good. I can have him do ALEKS for the maths & statistics. Where do you plan on obtaining the degree?

Sorry about all the question :0)
