BS IT Management WGU degree plan/copy of transfer guidelines?

I'm interested in pursuing the BSIT Management degree at WGU, starting from scratch. I've already read the "beginners guide" wiki and signed up for ACE. I was wondering if I could get some help with a degree plan, or at least a copy of WGU's transfer guidelines for that particular degree? For whatever reason, all the links to each degree under their college of business will only bring me to the BSBA PDF. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you guys!

Sorry I misspoke I was talking about the Bachelor of Business Administration Information Technology Management, its one of their business degrees. All of the links seem to just send me to BSBA. Thank you for the help dfrecore

From reading your previous posts:  You really need to start working on your general education courses first instead of "pondering" which program/school you want to attend.  Sometimes it's hard to focus on starting with your first initial credits.  

Here is what you should do first or next:  Decide on the degree program/school - Is it WGU or TESU?  Take the ALEKS College Algebra, CSM Learn (for the stats requirement) and take up to an additional 90 credits transferable from SL/Study.com 

1) If my guess is correct, you're not looking for a BSIT, but a BSBA ITM - Hopefully, these links below are the program links you are looking for.

Side Note: I highly recommend WGU for a "one and done" school, which means, if you're going for an BSIT/MSIT or a BSBA/MSBA, they're perfect.  However, that being said, I was wondering if you have tuition assistance/reimbursement, I forget.

The problem is, WGU just changed their business degrees on Feb 1, and hasn't updated their transfer guidelines. So if I were you, I'd contact them to ask when they're changing them.

Their partnership pages with Study.com and SL are also mapped to the old degrees, so you need to wait on those as well. I would probably ask about those as well, and tell them that I'm not enrolling until you have all of the info you need.

Thank you BJ, I appreciate the constructive criticism. Ive been procrastinating on this for too long, making excuses and worrying instead of buckling down and getting started. I know once I get the ball rolling I can knock this degree out in no time! I just have to get started and gain some momentum. I'll take your advice and start with the ALEKS and CSM courses. One other question, I read a thread awhile back that another user was transferring Sophia courses into WGU. I wasn't aware they excepted them? Are they recommended/worth looking into?

Thanks dfrecore, I read elsewhere that the change goes into affect March 1st. I contacted WGU for an updated version for both their Business transfer guidelines and partnership pages for SL/SDC, so we'll see.

According to her, the reason all of the links send me to "business administration," is because all of their business degrees are the same curriculum for transfer. Everything else must be taken at WGU. Which doesn't really make any sense. Why not give a complete list of all the classes required and write non-transferable next to each course which must be taken in house? Gives you a better idea of what it'll take to graduate. Another thing is, I thought they were trying to get away from the overlap of courses between business degrees? She told me any changes to the website (e.g. transfer pathways) will be updated March 15th.

That makes zero sense.  I get trying to get the GE and Business core to be the same for all degrees, that makes complete sense.  There are 36cr for GE, 33cr for Business Core, and 6cr for Business Major to the Core (which is different than Business Core HOW?).  Total of 75cr.  

What I don't get is the Certifications and Courses section, which don't see to all make sense for all business degrees (Network & Security Foundations? Taxation I?).

Instead, there should be GE and Business Core that's the same for all of the concentrations, and then each degree would have some additional courses specifically pertaining to it, with at least 30cr that can't be transferred in.  What they're doing here is just kooky.

Hopefully they will get their act together by March 15th and it will start to make sense.
