Credit Hour Residency Waiver Fee | $3,192
#1
If we pay for an Associate degree, will it be valid until we graduate (by paying difference amount: New waiver fee - 3192)?

Sorry for asking too many questions.

----------------------------
If a student pays either a residency waiver fee or does not graduate within 15 months, they will be required to pay additional credit hour residency waiver fees.
Students who successfully graduate from their first associate degree at TESU and pay the waiver will have been deemed to meet the University’s Credit Hour Residency requirement for both the completed associate degree and their first bachelor’s degree should they pursue one at TESU. The certificate residency fee may be applied toward the first associates/bachelors’ residency fee if the student completes their degree at TESU.
Students will be responsible for any increase in credit hour residency fees if the fee paid for the associate degree is less than the current fee at the time the student applies for graduation for their first bachelor’s degree.

If you pay the residency waiver for an Associates degree, you have already paid the residency waiver for your first Bachelors, regardless of when you graduate the Bachelors. However, if you pay the residency fee and don't graduate the Associates within 15 months, you need to pay again. You can get two associates added to your degree plan, and get both since you don't have one yet...

Thanks a lot for the clarification.

It's better, IMO, to either graduate with everything all at once OR to just do the 16-credit term to avoid the waiver entirely. There are some relatively easy classes that most students should be able to pass with at least a C.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:

Yes first, you earn the credit required for completion of your degree/'s, then pay for the residency fee only if you didn't complete 16 credits at TESU.

I suggest going for your main degree, then deciding if you want to go for another after that.  Someone for example could earn a BSBA and then an associate in Computer Science for free.  Or get the BA Computer Science and pick up the Associates in Business for free.

You can stay a student at TESU almost forever by just keep paying for a $50 TECEP exam.  But keep in mind prices could go up, rules can change.

That's when I paid for it.  If I remember correctly, I had to ask for the waiver. It was not automatically on the bill with the graduation application. I emailed office of Student Financial Accounts for procedure.  Their contact is in the contact us section of website.
