Now what?

I've been accepted 2 weeks ago.I filled out my FAFSA.They have had my FAFSA since Sept 21 It still isn't showing any reward amount ( I qualify for max on pell and loans) I don't have any credits to transfer in .I feel like I'm just sitting here doing nothing.The fall 2 starts the end of this month.When will I get registered for classes. When will the FAFSA info be available for me to review.I don't want to rush anyone or be impatient but I don't like that ngs being handled last minute.

You can take some sophia courses in the mean time...I did 22 courses in less than 3 weeks. This will keep you from having to start completely fresh at UMPI.

Thanks for the link? .My start date says October for fall 2 .That's what I signed on my commitment to start and turned in my high school transcript they have already.Why will I have to wait? Is that why no one is reaching out? Now I'm getting worried

You should have been doing Sophia and Study.com courses like yesterday. I'd push back your start date unless you can work like crazy these next couple weeks. You should not be sitting idly.

Don't expect them to be super communicative, they are overwhelmed with a huge uptick in enrollment. They will get back to you before you start but you should have your degree plan already completed by doing your own research.

Oh my goodness. Please, please, please go to Sophia immediately and at least complete the following:

Human Biology
Human Biology Lab
Environmental Science
Spanish I or French I - (if you're doing a History degree, you do Spanish I and Spanish II)

If you don't do at least these, your progress will be slowed and you might even wind up going out of pocket on the degree or even wind up dropping out entirely. Those specific courses are bad, really bad, at UMPI.

@Backtoschool4, If you haven't started yet, tell them to delay your enrollment by one session, this is to get a subscription month with Sophia.org to get the most credits you can for that one month. I would do all the classes mentioned in previous posts, in addition to that, try to get as many classes that transfer, if you need to add an additional month, that's your main goal, max transfer of credits. Your minimum you have to do at UMPI is 30, you can transfer 90 credits, don't do all 120 at UMPI... Again, to recap, delay the enrollment start, transfer classes from Sophia.org, start January 2024!
