1) eDynamic Learning acquires Greenway Academy
This company is trying to expand their online virtual offerings and purchasing competition would be a great addition, especially since they have a Canadian office and US office, they now can target both countries and provide more personalized learning mediums.

2) Endeavor schools acquires Village Green Day school

3) Family First Nursery group acquisition of Footsteps
This UK acquisition is probably one of the larger "independent nursery group" purchase in recent years.  Apparently it would be about 10 nurseries, 800+ students, and about $9 million (pounds) annual income.
